Outreach 2014 (I)

A short description of my research project supported by AXA during AXA Pop Days, a science popularization workshop for grantees of the AXA Research Fund held in Paris from 18 to 20 June 2014.

"My research focuses on assessing the threat of severe convective storms over Europe. The first objective of my research is to create climatologies of severe weather events (e.g., hail, tornadoes) on a European scale. The second objective is to better understand the factors controlling the distribution of severe weather events.

This was a great workshop and I have learnt a lot, especially how to promote/explain my research in less then one minute. More about AXA Pop Days here.

Financial mistakes, convective storms across Europe, insecurities in the western Sahel, adolescents' risk-taking... The annual science popularization workshop for grantees of the AXA Research Fund took place in Paris from 18 to 20 June. See 11 of them shortly present their projects on stage, and find the other ones in the playlist!
